    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Office Management:

    Oversee daily operations of the dental clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.

    Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    Manage office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed to ensure the clinic is well-stocked.

    Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities.

    Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

    2. Patient Coordination:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns.

    Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

    3. Financial Management:

    Handle billing and collections, including processing insurance claims and patient payments.

    Qualifications:

    Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed.

    2. Scheduling:

    Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the clinic's schedule for efficiency and effectiveness.

    Manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling, maintaining accurate records and minimizing gaps in the schedule.

    Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow and minimize wait times.

    3. Administrative Support:

    Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

    Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.

    Collect and process patient payments, providing receipts and maintaining accurate financial records.

    Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed.

    4. Patient Communication:

    Provide information to patients regarding clinic services, policies, and procedures.

    Qualifications:

  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Development Coordinator to join our team at North Charleston Dental Outreach (NCDO). The Development Coordinator will support the Director of Development in executing fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and community outreach to support our mission and vision.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Fundraising Support:

    Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns.

    Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, volunteer coordination, and donor engagement.

    Conduct research on potential individual and corporate donors, as well as grant opportunities.

    Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and funding applications.

    2. Donor Relations:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the donor management system.

    Acknowledge donations through personalized thank-you letters, emails, and other forms of communication.

    Assist in stewarding donor relationships through regular updates, meetings, and events.

    Help develop and implement strategies to retain and increase current donations.

    3. Community Outreach:

    Support community outreach efforts to increase awareness of NCDO's mission and services.

    Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community partners, faith-based organizations, and local businesses.

    Represent NCDO at community events and meetings to promote our work and engage potential supporters.

    4. Communications and Marketing:

    Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content.

    Help manage NCDO's social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content.

    Support the creation of an annual report highlighting NCDO's achievements and impact.

    5. Administrative Support:

    Provide administrative support to the Director of Development, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.

    Assist in tracking and reporting on fundraising metrics and outcomes.

    Help maintain organized and accessible records of fundraising activities and donor interactions.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field.

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or a related role.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and donor management software.
